Our international Partner Organizations and sponsored entrepreneurs have emergencies and unexpected expenses too. Partnering in the developing world often means operating with a smaller safety net and less options when challenges come.

We’ve all been there… The car breaks down. Natural disasters hit. Important equipment dies. Communication devices break. Homes flood.
Big or small, we’ve all faced emergencies – some that have created short-term inconveniences and some that have left us with life-changing realities.
Our partner organizations and the women they serve also face emergencies on a regular basis. Some small, some big, but as emergencies go, nearly always unexpected.
As we finish our year, we’re keenly aware of the unique and significant challenges of partnering with and caring for people in developing countries. Emergencies and unexpected costs can have massive impact when finances and infrastructure are already fragile.
Because of this, we’re developing an emergency fund to care for our partner organizations and our sponsored entrepreneurs. This gives us the ability to meet needs as they arise to provide food, safe shelter, and important items for our partners and entrepreneurs.
